A Black Labrador Retriever named Scooter has joined the K9 Forces in Greenville

A Black Labrador Retriever named Scooter is the newest member of the Greenville Police Department! He is trained and certified as a narcotics detection canine.

Scooter comes to the force thanks to a donation from Scott and Katherine Willis. The Willis family made a charitable donated to purchase and train a black Labrador Retriever.

Scott Willis was a former Sergeant with the Greenville Police Department in the Vice and Narcotics division when he resigned in 2004. Scott is currently the CEO of Palmetto Surety Corporation located in Charleston, South Carolina.

Scooter is named after Scott Willis, which was a nickname given to him by fellow officers during his tenure at the Greenville Police Department.
